SOCIAL SECURITY PRIVACY POLICY
In accordance with Public Act 08-167 the firm of Block, Janney & Sisley, LLC adopts this policy to protect the privacy of Social Security numbers:

All Social Security numbers of employees of the firm shall be kept confidential and not disclosed except on a need to know basis.

Social Security number of clients shall be kept within the client file to the extent that the retention of the Social Security number is necessary. Once the need for the Social Security number of the client no longer exists, the record of the Social Security number shall be destroyed.

No attorney or other employee of the firm shall disclose a Social Security number except as may be required by law or be required in connection with the matter being handled for the client.

No Social Security number shall be disclosed to any attorney or other employee except as such attorney or employee needs to know the information in connection with firm business.
